Notes: An interesting butterfly for the community tank, the Saddleback Butterfly should be housed singly unless a pair is available. It is compatible with other species of butterflyfishes. Make sure to provide plenty of swimming room and several hiding places where it can retreat.
The Saddleback Butterflyfish will eat a wide variety of stony corals and will nip at small sessile invertebrates, but should not bother soft corals.
Feed a variety of carnivore preparations including mysid shrimp, brine shrimp, krill, and marine fish.
