Notes: Juvenile Chevron Tangs are prized for their brilliant orange and blue coloration. As they mature their bright colors change to dark olive-brown with thin lines on the body. A great fish for reef aquariums, it will not bother corals, clams, or invertebrates, and it is not aggressive towards other fish with the possible exception of conspecifics. Use caution when keeping with other tangs of similar shape such as the Yellow Eye Tang. Keep only one Chevron Tang per aquarium. Provide plenty of live rock for it to graze on.
Feed a diet rich in vegetable matter including frozen herbivore foods, dried seaweed, or live macro algae.
