Notes: The Convict Tang is probably one of the least aggressive Tangs and should not bother most tank mates. If you plan to keep a group it is best to add them all at the same time. Avoid keeping with conspecifics such as the Yellow Eye Tang or Chevron Tang since they may behave aggressively towards the Convict Tang. A great choice for the reef aquarium, the Convict Tang will not bother corals, clams, or invertebrates. Provide plenty of live rock for it to graze on.
Feed a diet rich in vegetable matter including frozen herbivore foods, dried seaweed, or live macro algae.
