Notes: The Fourline Wrasse requires an established aquarium with plenty of live rock and live sand. It feeds primarily on micro-invertebrates living in and around the live rock. Systems with refugiums offer this fish an added source of live food. It is generally a very peaceful fish, but may harass smaller docile wrasse and easily intimidated smaller fish.
The Fourline Wrasse is a great reef fish and is often seen cruising all over the tank looking for food. It is harmless to ornamental invertebrates, clams, and coral. It will help to control pyramidellid snails, which are harmful to clams, and flatworms. Do not keep it with aggressive predators, or larger aggressive wrasses.
Feed a mixed diet of carnivore preparations, mysid shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and/or live black worms.
