Notes: The Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse is probably one of the most striking saltwater fish you will ever see. Juveniles are mostly orange while adults have a golden-yellow base color. They require an established aquarium with plenty of live rock and live sand. This is a very peaceful wrasse and can be housed with a wide variety of docile reef fish, including other small wrasse.
The Carpenter's Wrasse is a great reef fish and is often seen cruising all over the tank looking for food. It is harmless to coral, clams, and invertebrates. Do not keep it with aggressive predators, or larger aggressive wrasses as it can be easily intimidated.
Feed a mixed diet of carnivore preparations, mysid shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and/or live black worms.
