Notes: The Purple Sea Fan grows in beautiful fan-like formations. Its branches are purple and covered with beautiful white polyps. This is one of the easiest gorgonians to keep.

Underwater epoxy is useful in attaching the sea fan securely in your reef aquarium. Place it in an upright position in the bottom two-thirds of the aquarium. Make sure that moderate currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements.

Provide additions of trace elements, marine snow, phytoplankton, and food for filter feeders to help insure its continued good health.
