Regenerable Toxic Metal Sponge

- A regenerable, bead shaped resin, which safely removes heavy metals.
- Safe for use in all types of systems.
- Removes copper, lead, mercury, and other heavy metals from marine aquariums.
- Also works well to remove metals from tap water.
- Tan beads turn a slight shade of light blue, green or gray, depending on pollutant, indicating exhaustion.
- Resins will last about 2 years, (with regeneration) and then should be replaced.
- Toxic Metal Sponge should not be used on a continual basis, since it may remove essential trace minerals.
- It should be used if heavy metals are suspected, and should be removed as soon as the metals are gone.
- Warning: Do not attempt regeneration unless you are comfortable with handling strong acids and qualified to do so. If not, discard and purchase new.
- Simply place resin in a mesh filter bag and position for water to flow through the resin.
