Notes: The German Blue Polyp Montipora Dijitata is aquacultured by ORA in the U.S. This coral grows well in most any reef aquarium. Montipora dijitata requires moderate water currents and modereate to high light lighting provided by power compact flourescent, or metal halides to maintain its color. It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium levels are maintained. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.
Place the German Blue Polyp Montipora Dijitata on an exposed rock along the top half of the aquarium where currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements.
Vivid Aquariums recommends feeding SPS corals with Oyster-Feast and/or Roti-Feast.
