Notes: The Purple Haze Montipora (montipora sp.) grows well in any SPS aquarium and will encrust over the rock. Purple haze Montipora requires moderate to high water currents and high light provided by metal halides to maintain its color. It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium levels are maintained. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.
Place the Purple haze Montipora on an exposed rock along the top half of the aquarium where currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements.
Vivid Aquariums recommends feeding SPS corals with Oyster-Feast and/or Roti-Feast.
