This rare beauty prefers moderate to low light levels under metal halides. It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, magnesium levels are maintained. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.

Supplementing its diet with the addition of trace elements, marine snow, phytoplankton, and food for filter feeders will help to insure its continued good health. Try feeding it small pieces of squid or shrimp once a week by placing the food on the mouths located in the center of the polyp.

Do not keep with large angelfish or butterflyfish as they cannot seem to resist picking at its fleshy polyps.
