Notes: This is a very unique montipora capricornus. It is green with baby blue polyps.
The Blue Polyped Cap (montipora capricornus) requires moderate water currents and intense lighting provided by metal halides, or high output flourescents such as T5's to maintain its color. It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium levels are maintained. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.
Place the Blue Polyped Cap on an exposed rock in the aquarium where currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements.
Vivid Aquariums recommends feeding SPS corals with Oyster-Feast and/or Roti-Feast.
