Notes: The Northern Lights Granulosa is a stunning acropora and does well lower down in the aquarium. We keep our mother in the about 4" off of the sand in our 800 gallon SPS display under 20K Radium bulbs.
This beautiful SPS (small polyped stony) coral requires strong water currents and intense lighting provided by metal halides to maintain its color. It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium levels are maintained. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.
Place the Northern lights Granulosa on an exposed rock along the top of the aquarium where currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements.
Vivid Aquariums recommends feeding SPS corals with Oyster-Feast and/or Roti-Feast.
