Notes: Think of Frags as Acropora seeds. Frags are mounted onto small stones and kept for a few weeks in aquariums. We grow and frag the Vivid Tri-color Acropora coral here at Vivid Aquariums. We believe that Frags and aqua-cultured corals are the future of the aquarium hobby.

This beautiful SPS (small polyped stony) coral requires moderate water currents and intense lighting provided by metal halides to maintain its color. It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium levels are maintained. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.

Place the Vivid Tri-color Acropora Coral on an exposed rock along the top of the aquarium where currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements.

Vivid Aquariums recommends feeding SPS corals with Oyster-Feast and/or Roti-Feast.
