Notes: The Red Montipora Palawanensis is one of the rarer montiporas we offer. This coral grows well in any SPS aquarium. The Red Montipora Palawanensis grows in a plating formation. It requires moderate water currents and moderate lighting provided by metal halides to maintain its color. It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium levels are maintained. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.
Place the Red Montipora Palawanensis on an exposed rock along the middle third of the aquarium where currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements.
Vivid Aquariums recommends feeding SPS corals with Oyster-Feast and/or Roti-Feast.
