Notes: Kryptonite Candy Cane Coral got its name because of how it resembles numerous trumpets pointing skyward. It is easy to keep, making it a great choice for beginners. This intense neon green variation provides a beautiful contrast to other corals in the aquarium. Candy Cane Corals require moderate water currents and moderate reef lighting for proper health. It is important that adequate calcium and alkalinity levels are maintained to ensure proper skeletal growth. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.

Place the Kryptonite Candy Cane Coral along the top half of the aquarium on an exposed rock. Make sure that moderate currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements. Be careful to place it so that only the skeleton comes in contact with the live rock. Leave several inches between it and other corals.

Supplementing its diet with the addition of trace elements, marine snow, phytoplankton, and food for filter feeders will help to insure its continued good health.
