Notes: Gold is not a common color for corals. The Golden Leptastrea will encrust the rocks and add a spark of color to any reef. This coral can take high light but does also thrives under lower lighting. We keep our mother colony under the acroporas in our main display.
It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, magnesium levels are maintained. Use of Kalkwasser Mix or a calcium reactor will be of great benefit.
Place the Golden Leptastrea Coral on a rock in the bottom half of the aquarium where currents will be able to supply it with necessary nutrients and trace elements.
Vivid Aquariums recommends feeding SPS corals with Oyster-Feast and/or Roti-Feast.
