Nano Customizations and Alterations
Are alterations necessary?
No. The stock JBJ
Nano Deluxe kit is adequate for most corals. Alterations are for do-it-yourselfers who like to improve and fiddle. Remember what you alter may void JBJ's
warranty.
How do I add more flow to my tank?
Add an additional powerhead. We recommend a small
Rio or an additional JBJ stock pump.
How do I add more light to my tank?
For SPS or high light corals, JBJ makes the K-2 Viper Metal Halide Clamp-On Lamp.
However, adding a metal halide may require a chiller or fan because of the excess heat. We have a K-2 Viper on our nano at our store which requires a chiller.
